Afterland takes place outdoors at the Neptune Drive-In grounds and at Parlee Beach. We want every guest to have the best possible experience. Here is what to expect and how to reach us if you need accommodation.
Ground conditions
The Neptune Drive-In grounds are mostly grass with some uneven terrain and small hills. The ground may be soft or wet depending on recent weather. Paved surfaces are limited. After dark, lighting is intentionally low in some areas of the festival.
Wheelchairs and mobility devices
Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are welcome. Please be aware that the ground is uneven with small inclines that may be difficult for manual wheelchairs. Electric scooters or power-assist chairs are recommended.
Accessible parking
Accessible parking is available closer to the festival entrance. Please follow posted signs on arrival.
Washrooms
Porta-potties are available on-site, including accessible units on firm ground.
Service animals
Service animals are welcome with proper documentation. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted on the festival grounds.
Sensory considerations
Afterland includes loud amplified music, fire performances, combat demonstrations, fireworks, fog effects, and flashing lights. A quiet area is available for guests who need to step away. The festival is considerably darker after sunset than a typical outdoor event.
